Jameis Winston is Already Stirring the Pot

Yesterday’s NFL Draft began as expected with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers taking Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston first overall. Not long after he was drafted Winston stirred up some controversy.

Winston’s college career had a few questionable occurrences. Winston was accused of sexual assault but the charges were cleared. Jameis was also cited for stealing crab legs from a grocery store.

Here is where Jameis trolled the world after he was drafted. Jameis chose not to be in attendance at the draft, instead having his own party with family and friends. Jameis posted a picture on social media posing with crab legs from the party.

Winston removed the picture later on in the evening but not before it was noticed by the media. Some suspect that the Buccaneers made him remove the picture but that has yet to be confirmed by the team.

The Buccaneers are going to need to keep a tight leash on Winston before they go through the same experience the Cleveland Browns experienced with Johnny Manziel who ended up spending a short time in rehab.

Winston has the ability to be a successful quarterback in the NFL as long as he can keep his behavior off the field in check.  The Bucs public relations team will need to be ready to go to work if he pulls another stunt like this one.
